Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd was on a stunning three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent within the first round. Then, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen in a unanimous vote. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her first professional fight. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first bout in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen employed the strong skills she had learned in wrestling to take on McGill. She won her bout via TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her off in the second round with a TKO. Her final fight with this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks in a an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina with a pound and grind to her, winning the TKO in the second round. In her second fight, she beat Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first few seconds and earned a reward for the performance of the evening. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision as well as her Fight of the Night award went to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in 16-seconds to break her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 on ESPN. Her most recent bout for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
